The Modular foundation tie clamp is used as an accessory for the Modular/GE universal formwork.

With the Modular foundation tie clamp and the associated perforated ties, the desired wall thickness for foundations can be set very easily. The Modular foundation tie clamp is made up of a bolt, clamping piece and wing nut.

Information on use

If there is no space for the tie rod and the plate with ball-and-socket joint or if expensive excavation is to be avoided, the lower tie point in the foundation can also be realised with the perforated tie and foundation tie clamp.
To this end, the foundation tie clamp with the integrated bolt is attached in the second bolt hole from below to the panel joint. The perforated tie is then cut to size according to the width of the foundation and placed at the later attachment points of the foundation tie clamp.

Simple formwork assembly

The panels of the adjustable formwork are erected with the Modular foundation tie clamps and the reinforcement is then installed. After setting the closing formwork, the Perforated foundation tie is bent slightly upwards until the clamping part is in a hole. The nut can now be turned until the clamping part lies against the perforated tie. The Modular foundation tie clamps are installed on both sides.

Suitable for all foundation dimensions

The regular, 5 cm-large hole spacing in the perforated tie matches the working length of the Modular foundation tie clamp. As such, any desired length can be set and formed with cm accuracy. The perforated tie method also offers a cost-effective alternative to clamping with a clamping set for block foundations. The perforated tie can also be laid crosswise.

Can be used multiple times

After formworking, the foundation tie clamp can be easily released, the Perforated foundation tie, on the other hand, is a lost anchor and remains in the concrete.
